Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We found this place, the best Italian home cook style food tried last 3 weeks in Italy. Nice service with chat, most of all good good food. We ended up having 3 meals during our stay in Rome. Thank you"
"Great food, fair price and super friendly staff. Way better than the place I tried near Castel Sant Angelo, which was pricier and nowhere near as good. We came here twice in our 2 day trip, really recommend to you all. Also, I especially loved their tiramisu, it had the perfect level of sweetness, not cloying like Two Size's. This might be the best tiramisu I've had. Definitely come back for it when I'm back in Rome."
"Came here twice on my short trip, the food was DELICIOUS. So nice to see a family owned restaurant and the older couple making the food in the kitchen. Truly a local gem with great food and service. I hope to come back!"
"We had a quick lunch here, and they serve great food at affordable prices. At lunchtime, most customers dine outside but we wanted a quiet place to enjoy lunch so we decided to sit inside. Our server was really kind and friendly, and always checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Plus, it's just a short walk from Basilica of St. John in Lateran so it's perfect for a break from sightseeing. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that we ordered mixed salad, and our server suggested we order their tomatoes and buffala cheese appetizer. That's totally fine and we agreed with the recommendation, but they could have removed the mixed salad in that case. As a result, we had wayyyy too many tomatoes and cheese to eat. It was too much for an appetizer."
"Great experience, the food, ambiance and cocktails were great! Marco is a great waiter, and is an absolute fan of the AS Roma, like us. He is particularly happy when customers come wearing the official jersey!!!"
"Everything was excellent and every portion of meal(pasta) was so big however i cannot take photo of them, but you can try them without any doubt. ↔"
"We spent two nights in Rome and two time we have been here for a dinner. It is absolutely amazing food and amazing service by Massimiliano. Malanzana parmigiana is 10/10. Seafood starter plate was way bigger than we expected. If I ever come back in Rome I’ll come for a dinner to this place again, promise!"
"Went last night just for dinner and it ended up being an experience. The staff was super friendly, the food was excellent."
